2 LP Pressed on two 180g clear vinyl discs, the double LP comes with a thick card sleeve and two printed inner bags. Disc One contains the original album, with 10 bonus tracks on Disc Two. The album is suffused with Tony Visconti’s landscape production. Coming at the end of the 70s, it embraces the band’s punk origins, but with a fierce literary bent, and references 50s and 60s music in a historic overview of a changing Ireland. Originally released in 1979, “Ghostown” is widely regarded as one of the definitive Irish records, up there with “Astral Weeks”.
