Paul Mazursky / Lenny Baker - Next Stop Greenwich Village

Drama written and directed by Paul Mazursky. Larry Lapinsky (Lenny Baker) leaves his traditional Jewish home and his overprotective mother Fay (Shelley Winters) behind in Brooklyn and moves to Greenwich Village, hoping to succeed as an actor. As Fay struggles to let him go, he finds new friends and tries to maintain his difficult relationship with his girlfriend Sarah (Ellen Greene).
